The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. It made exploring the area super easy. I appreciated the secure underground parking, it was a huge plus for our stay. The room was quite clean, and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful. the mattress in our standard room was uncomfortable. The ventilation system was noisy, disrupting our sleep. I felt the breakfast was a bit on the pricier side considering the room rate, but it did have a decent variety. The decor in some areas seemed a bit dated, which was a slight downer given the hotel's overall vibe. I noticed a lack of basic amenities in the bathroom, like a plug for the basin.

It was a smooth place to stay during my trip to visit the Museum of Angouleme, just a short walk away.

We had a lovely view of the garden. private parking was a major plus, really handy for us. clean areas in the hotel like the reception and breakfast hall were impressive.
